Alhajie Ousman M. Jah is a distinguished scholar and community leader with a strong foundation in Islamic Jurisprudence and the Maliki school of thought. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Shari’ah Law from Medina Islamic University with Distinction and multiple diplomas in Islamic Family and Personal Law.

Professionally, he has contributed to Islamic education, Shariah compliance, and social welfare through roles such as Cadi Appeals Panel Member for The Gambia’s Islamic Court of Appeal, Shariah Advisory Committee Member for the Arab Gambia Islamic Bank, and Amirul Hajj for the National Hajj Commission.

He has represented The Gambia at numerous international forums, including the UN Population Conference (Cairo, 1997) and the Islamic Conference on Enlightened Moderation (Pakistan, 2004).
